CHRISTIANE AMANPOUR
کریستین امانپو
Non-Biased Journalist...
or Insidious Subversive?

"We in the press,
by our power, can actually undermine leadership."
-- Christiane
Amanpour
Born in London, January
12, 1958, to father Mohammad, an Iranian airline executive, and British
mother Patricia. The family soon moved to Tehran, Iran. The Amanpour
family led a very lavish, privileged life under the government of the
Shah of Iran. At age 11, she returned to England to attend first, the
Holy Cross Convent School in Buckinghamshire, England, and then the New
Hall School, an exclusive Roman Catholic girls' school. Her family was
forced to flee Iran after Jimmy Carter's indecisiveness as the U.S.
President, failed to head off the extremist Islamic Revolution of 1979.
Some consider this to be the start or the catalyst to the Long War with
Islamic Fascism we find ourselves in today. And if you look back over
the last 28 years, it's clear to see who in our political world, as well
as the media world, had the fortitude to publicly recognize and stand
against the growing Islamic aggression... as well as who amongst them
ignored it.
Amanpour moved to the
United States to study journalism at the University of Rhode Island.
During that time she also worked in the News Department at WBRU-FM
Providence. She graduated from URI Summa Cum Laude, with a BA in
Journalism, in 1983. From there
she went to work for NBC affiliate WJAR in Providence, Rhode Island as
an electronic graphics designer. Also in 1983, she was hired by CNN
where she began honing her career as an on-air personality. In 1989,
she was posted to Frankfurt, Germany, where she reported on the
democratic revolutions sweeping Eastern Europe at the time. Massive
change brought about by Ronald Reagan's stand against tyranny, but not
always reported as such.
It was her coverage of
the Persian Gulf War that followed Iraq's virtual devouring of Kuwait in
1990, that made her a famous face.

During the Clinton days
she reported from the Bosnian war and many other conflict zones. Her
overkill emotional delivery from Sarajevo during the Siege of Sarajevo
led many viewers and critics to question her professional objectivity
and journalistic integrity, which she replied to by saying this,
"There are some situations one simply cannot be neutral about, because
when you are neutral you are an accomplice. Objectivity doesn't mean
treating all sides equally. It means giving each side a hearing."
Wait a minute... rewind
that... "There some situations one simply cannot be neutral about..."
But I thought she was supposed to be an un-biased reporter for a
major cable-news network... "the most trusted name in news." And
what about this, "giving each side a hearing..." crap...? Do we
really need to hear much more from people who will either lie to us...
or attempt to convert or kill us...?
From 1996-2005,
Amanpour contracted with CBS to file four to five in-depth,
international news reports a year as a special contributor on that
network's newsmagazine program, 60 Minutes.
She has had many memorable moments in her
career, one of them being a telephone interview with Yasser Arafat
during the siege on his compound in March 2002, during which Chairman
Arafat hung up on her. Another was landing the first and only
post-election interview of Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad by a
Western journalist in 2005.
Based out of CNN's
London bureau, Amanpour is one of the most recognized international
correspondents on American television. Her willingness to work in
dangerous conflict zones has reportedly made her one of the most highest
paid field reporters in the world. She speaks English, Persian, and
French fluently, and she has been the recipient of countless industry
awards, including a Peabody, Polk, and International Emmy awards.

Now, all of her
credentials and accolades are very impressive, she's obviously a very
intelligent and accomplished lady... she doesn't exactly rank with some
of our previous, more violent or actually crazy WJOTW's, and I'm sure on
a personal, human level, she's probably a very interesting person to
talk to... but where is it written that Ms. Amanpour is genuinely
objective in her reporting of the news...?
Case in point... her
marriage to an obvious Liberal and hardcore Democrat operative.
In 1998 Ms. Amanpour married James Rubin, who early in his career was
the Assistant Director of Research at the Arms Control Association. He
went on to serve under President Clinton as assistant Secretary of State
for Public Affairs and Chief Spokesman for the State Department from
1997 to May 2000. He went on to be the chief foreign policy spokesman
for NATO failure, General Wesley Clark and his dismal 2005 presidential
campaign, and then worked for Democratic nominee John Kerry, serving as
a senior advisor for national security affairs. And the Liberal
coincidence furthers with Mr. Rubin's sister... Ms. Amanpour's
sister-in-law, Elizabeth Rubin, who just happens to be a staff-writer
for The New York Times Magazine. And these close family-ties
have no affect on her personal or political views or the way in which
she reports on world events and situations... situations which she
herself admitted she cannot be neutral about...?
A Vietnam veterans
group once wrote in the New York Times, "Now that the Sarin
gas fraud has been exposed -- what about Bosnia coverage by Christiane
Amanpour who fed the American people a nightly diet of slanted reports
and chilling images?"
The very Liberal
Washington Post even complained once on the op-ed, "When it
comes to Israel, Amanpour is certainly no friend. The same can't be
said about her attitude toward the PLO. And in neither case can she
fairly be labeled an objective journalist."
Of course... TIME
Magazine actually referred to Ms. Amanpour as... "most
influential
foreign correspondent since Edward R. Murrow."
But please, consider the source... and
by "influential," could they mean, she's the most likely and able to get
her opinions across to more people...?
Opinions like...
"To the West, martyrdom has a really
bad connotation because of suicide bombers who call themselves martyrs,"
she said. "Really, martyrdom is actually something that historically was
quite noble, because it was about standing up and rejecting tyranny,
rejecting injustice and rejecting oppression and, if necessary, dying
for that." Ok... did you catch that America...? Martyrdom is a
noble cause. I'm not stupid, I realize the context in which she's
saying this... however... she's still bold-faced justifying the Islamics
killing themselves and others in the name of martyrdom and Allah.

The point is this my
friends... Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, Neal Boortz, and the like... are
considered evil by the mainstream, dead-horse, drive-by media... and
why...? Because they've broken up the Liberal media monopoly that held
a suffocating strangle-hold on the dissemination of information in this
country for decades. They demonize the Conservatives, Republicans, and
Libertarians... slander them with stereotypical titles such as
homophobic, fear-monger, war-monger, religious fascist or the recently
ever present accusation of lying. Those voices on Talk-Radio, some on
FOX News, and some on the internet... have been branded Hate Speech by
those who simply disagree with them on ideology and politics. This is
why the Dems want to reinstate the so-called
Fairness
Doctrine, which they know would virtually destroy Talk Radio as we
know it, forcing "fairness," and "equality," down everyone's throats,
whether we like it or not.
The Liberals and
Socialists slam Limbaugh for being a "nasty, evil, conservative," and
claim he's so horribly biased he and anyone like him simply cannot and
must no be trusted. But in the same breath, they praise people like
Christiane Amanpour for being a "politically strong journalist." And
they appreciate the fact that she's attempting to affect American
foreign policy with her hard-hitting jet-setting opinion-laced
journalism.
Chris Mathews of
NBC's Hardball was a speech writer for Jimmy Carter and worked for
several other prominent Democrats, and clearly takes the Democrat Party
stance during his "reporting," and debating... but no one question's his
objectivity. George Stephanopoulos was the goddamned "Communications
Director" for Bill Clinton... and works where now...? Well he took over
David Brinkley's Sunday morning news program, ABC's This Week...
and strangely, no one ever question's his credibility in reporting the
news objectively. And yet... Sean Hannity is the devil...? How does
that work out to be fair...???
Just listen to the
"Hate-Hannity-Line" segment on Sean Hannity's nationally syndicated
radio show and you'll hear people saying that he's a "lying sum-bag,"
and a "fascist piece of shit," and that they wished violence on him and
his family... it's really disgusting. And why...? Because people
disagree with his politics...? Because he has a different moral compass
than others...? At least the man stands for something... and he's not
afraid to admit and disclose his political and ideological ideas and
desires for this country.

Unlike... Ms. Amanpour...
who, although a reporter, obviously has her own political agenda,
incorporating her own views into stories. And when she's accused of
being biased, she has responded, "What does it mean to be completely
unbiased? If I were covering the Holocaust, would I have to say, ‘Oh,
the poor Nazis, maybe they have a point?’"
For instance... this
distinguished, award-winning, chief-international correspondent for,
"the most trusted name in news," the world famous Christiane
Amanpour, of Iranian descent, seems to be going to
great-televised-lengths to glorify and justify the culture and teachings
of Muhammad and Allah... at the same time she seems to put into question
everyone else. I'm referring of course to her new "documentary" series
on CNN entitled,
"God's
Warriors," where Amanpour collects hours of interviews and
video, comparing the three main world religions Judaism, Islam, and
Christianity. She declares that all of these religions have respect for
one another, until politics gets thrown into the mix and then the
violence. Ignoring of course that violence fuels the majority of
Muslims into their world domination mentality. She also seems to want to
equate certain elements of the "peaceful" religion of Islam with the
"totalitarian" like Christians and Jews, in America and Israel.
And if you doubt my
words... please look at a few other perspectives on Amanpour's
journalistic treatment of religion and politics on
Newsbusters.org.
And if you doubt those
view-points or deem them too partisan... take another hard look at the
"peaceful" religion of Islam.
"And I believe that good journalism, good
television, can make our world a better place."
