The infamous Boss Tweed of Tammany Hall, would probably be very impressed by Big Nancy’s political maneuverings and tactics.  Her power-mad attitude got her just what she wanted, assisted, quite obviously by her willing minions in the Dead-Horse, Drive-By, Old-school liberal media. 

 

Barbara Walters of ABC News, labeled her one of the most fascinating people of 2006.  Charles Gibson, also of ABC, hailed her for demonstrating the “ultimate in multitasking… taking care of children and country.”  Meredith Vieira of NBC’s the Today Show, was giddy like a little school-girl as she announced, "It's a very historic day on Capitol Hill.  Nancy Pelosi, first woman to become Speaker of the House.  I'm excited as a woman to see that happen." 

 

And CNN reporter, Dana Bash, gushed over Pelosi’s ascent to liberal rock-star status by saying it was “a moment to savor… Nancy Pelosi seized the gavel, and, with it, power…”

 

That’s what it’s all about to the Dems.  Power. 

 

Big Nancy’s brute force and intimidation exemplifies the Tammany Hall spirit.  And you gotta give it to the lady, she systematically strong-armed her way right up through the ranks of the country’s most powerful criminal organization… the U.S. Congress… and she’s now muscled her way into the Boss’ chair. 

 

But who is Nancy Pelosi…?  And why has Patriotic Thunder chosen her as our first Whack-Job of 2007…? 

 

Many would say she’s now an historical person, put down in the books as someone who accomplished something before anyone else in history.  Although factual, it’s really quite insignificant when compared to the life-threatening level of danger this woman now puts our nation at historically.  She’s an anti-war, anti-military, anti-nuclear whack-job who’s been placed two heart-beats away from defending 300 million people.

A giddy, captivated Katie wondered aloud…  "A lot has been made of the fact that you, if elected, and it appears that you will be, that you will be the first woman Speaker of the House and the highest ranking woman in the United States government. What does that mean to you?"

And the exhalted Madame Speaker replied: "It's pretty exciting, I have to say. I'm just so excited that a Democrat will be Speaker of the House."

To which Katie schmoozed: "So you're a Democrat first, a woman second?"

 

Matters not what color you are, matters not your gender or sexual preference… the Liberals support diversity… as long as your as Liberal.

If you a black female conservative like Secretary of State Rice, your just a slave who does what massa’ Bush wants… if you’re a black conservative male running as a Republican like Michael Steel, well you’re just an Oreo or an Uncle Tom… if you’re a gay Republican male who’s made some really bad choices and made some very bad mistakes, like Mark Foley, you’re a predator pedophile who’s been stalking and preying on children for years with consent from the Republican Party.

Diversity ends for the Liberals if you’re not a Liberal.  They buy votes with race, gender, age, and class warfare tactics.  It’s all about power.  And the retention of the power by hardcore, left-wing, fundamentalist, neo-Hippies… the Liberal Democrats.)

 

Talking out of both sides of her mouth.  What does she really believe about the Long War…?

 

Pelosi actually opposed the use of force to expel Saddam Hussein from Kuwait. Although she voted for the 1991 resolution authorizing the use of force, she claimed she did so only as a show of support for the troops, not as an endorsement for the use of force.

“We must continue to express our disagreement with this policy. Those of us who are against the use of force”

During debate to Authorize the Use of United States Armed Forces Against Iraq, Big Nancy had this to say…

"As a member of the House Intelligence Committee, I am keenly aware that the proliferation of chemical and biological weapons is an issue of grave importance to all nations. Saddam Hussein has been engaged in the development of weapons of mass destruction technology which is a threat to countries in the region and he has made a mockery of the weapons inspection process… Yes, he (Hussein) has chemical weapons, he has biological weapons, he is trying to get nuclear weapons."

 

She told Tim Russert on a November 17, 2002 appearance NBC's Meet the Press…

"Saddam Hussein certainly has chemical and biological weapons.

There's no question about that."

 

Now compare that to this rant on CNN, May 21, 2004

"Bush is an incompetent leader. In fact, he's not a leader…

He's a person who has no judgment, no experience and no knowledge of the subjects

that he has to decide upon.  The shallowness that he has brought to the office

has not changed since he got there.  These policies are not working. But speaking specifically to Iraq, we have a situation where -- without adequate evidence -- we put our young people in harm's way."

 

 

Now is it me… or is she contradicting herself at every turn?  “Without adequate evidence…?”  So maybe she was misquoted…?  Well, Patriotic Thunder attempts to give most people the benefit of the doubt.  But it just gets worse.  This is from the Democrat Response to President’s Bush’s 2005 State of the Union Address…

“The greatest threats to our homeland security are the tons of biological, chemical and even nuclear materials that are unaccounted for or unguarded. The president says the right words about the threat but he has failed to take action commensurate with it. We can and we must keep the world's most gruesome weapons out of the world's most dangerous hands. Nothing is more important to our homeland security, and indeed to the safety of the world.”

And yet, in June of 2006, at an anti-war rally called “Take Back America,” she told a crowd this…

“There was never anything in the intelligence that said Iraq posed an imminent threat to the United States, never."

 

So which is it Nancy…?  What do you believe…?  Should we believe you…?  Are you doing and saying what ever you have to do to recapture and retain Democrat power…?  Or are you just a whack-job…?  Are we supposed to believe this product of an upper-class political family from the east-coast, who was educated and socialized in the hippie state of California is going to work towards keeping We the People safe…?  Her foreign policy seems to be an oxy-moron.

Here’s another Big Nancy line from the Dem Response to the ’05 State of the Union…

“Democrats are committed to a strong national security

that keeps America safe, that wins the war on terror…”

But look at the facts…

 

Big Nancy Voted NO on continuing intelligence gathering without civil oversight.

A resolution providing for consideration of the bill (H.R. 5020) to authorize appropriations for fiscal year 2007 for intelligence and intelligence-related activities.  Voting YES indicates support of the current methods for intelligence-gathering used by the CIA and other agencies.

Voted NO on federalizing rules for driver licenses to hinder terrorists, and to strengthen border fence in San Diego.

REAL ID Act of 2005: To establish and rapidly implement regulations for State driver's license and identification document security standards, to prevent terrorists from abusing the asylum laws of the United States, to unify terrorism-related grounds for inadmissibility and removal, and to ensure expeditious construction of the San Diego border fence.

Voted NO on continuing military recruitment on college campuses.

Voted NO on permitting commercial airline pilots to carry guns.

Armed Airline Pilots Bill: Vote to pass a bill that would create a program where commercial pilots would be deputized as federal law enforcement officers and would then be permitted to carry guns aboard airlines. To participate in the program, commercial pilots would have to undergo specialized training. At least 250 commercial pilots would undergo the training. Within two months of the bill's enactment, the Transportation Security Agency or TSA, would then be required to begin weapons training for pilots who had volunteered for the program. Airlines and pilots will not be held legally accountable when defending planes from terrorist acts except in cases of willful misconduct or gross negligence The TSA could temporarily put the program on hold if a pilot's gun unintentionally discharges and causes injury to a crew member or passenger. The bill also would entail flight attendants to undergo self-defense training. Also study training all federal law enforcement officers on aviation anti-terrorism.

Pelosi sponsored the Landmine Elimination and Victim Assistance Act:

Expresses the sense of Congress that:

  1. the Department of Defense should field currently available weapons and other technologies, and use tactics and operational concepts, that provide suitable alternatives to anti-personnel mines and mixed anti-tank mine systems; and

  2. the United States should end its use of such mines and join the Convention on the Prohibition of the Use, Stockpiling, Production and Transfer of Anti-Personnel Mines and on Their Destruction.

  3. Amends the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 1993 to make permanent (currently terminates on October 23, 2003) the prohibition on the transfer of anti-personnel landmines.

  4. Directs the President to establish an interagency working group to develop a comprehensive plan for expanded mine action programs, including victim rehabilitation, social support, and economic reintegration.

Ladies and gentlemen… my fellow Americans… right now our nation faces a threat possibly greater than those we’ve faced and in Wars past… Hitler, Imperialist Japan, Communism… we face an evil more sinister and more insidious than ever.  The well documented Islamic Fascist plan of world domination is threat to our We the People’s very existence.  And we’re completely losing site of what course of action this country has been forced to take before, and will be forced to take again in order to secure America’s freedoms and liberties.  We seem to be going through an extended Neville Chamberlain period of denial, blind to the enormity of the Jihad problem.  The storm is gathering and the country seems stuck in pre-9/11 mode where terrorism… evil… Islamic Fascism… and total destruction… can’t hurt us. 

 

Wake up America… Big Nancy’s only in it for the money, the glory, and most of all… the power.  She has no clue about War matters… she’s still stuck in her Greatful Dead days… peace, love, and harmony, blah, blah, blah.  Where did Give Peace a Chance get Mr. Lennon…?  And I don’t mean Vladimir Lenin.

 

While the Queen Bee, Boss Nancy keeps the uninformed voters and the Old media busy with accusations of Republican inadequacies, minimum wage and ethics rules… Muhammad’s hell-bent followers are crossing our pitiful borders by night and lurking among us, just waiting to strike.
