Officially
awarded the Medal of Honor on October
22, 2007 by President George Bush
posthumously to his family for his
actions in Afghanistan. Born in
raised in Patchogue, NY. Lt.
Michael Murphy excelled at Penn State
University in Hockey and academics.
He was offered two places to attend law
school for post-graduate, he declined
both and went to OCS (Officer Candidate
School). Once in OCS, he once
again excelled and found that drive to
help people that was instilled in him
throughout his whole life come to the
surface again. He loved helping
people and found that the U.S. Navy
Seals was the greatest honor of military
special forces that could let him be
himself and bestow his moral values in
dedication to his country.
In June
28, of 2005, Lieutenant Michael Murphy
was high atop the Hindu Kush mountains
along the Pakistan and Afghanistan
border hunting a Taliban leader.
In his team were Danny Dietz, Marcus
Luttrell, and Matt Axelson, all awarded
the Navy Cross for their actions on this
day. After setting up a
sniper's/observation post to capture or
kill this leader they were compromised.
A couple of goat herders happened to
come across the team of four of the
Navy's finest, the SEALS. They
weighed every option, kill them and
throw their bodies over the cliff would
be the most sound tactical decision.
However, if the liberal Democrat
mainstream media found out that they
killed non-combatants', they would have
a field day. Imagine the New York
Times newspaper headline (U.S.
Navy Seals Murder Civilians).
Seals are men of integrity, lying wasn't
an option, if they were asked they would
immediately lay the truth out on the
table. Unfortunately, the moral
consequence combined with what the
mainstream media would do to them was
way too much for the SEAL team.
They let the goatherders' go knowing
that they would run right to the first
Taliban fighter they came across and let
them know of their position.
What happened next
was one of the fiercest battles ever to be
recorded by the Navy Seals. Approximately
100 - 200 fierce Taliban fighters rained RPG,
grenades, AK-47 bullets engulfing the teams
position. Danny Dietz suffered numerous
rounds while trying to contact HQ (Headquarters)
to get help. Matt Axelson was shot at
least four times and still was fighting fierce
as he was when the first bullet came down range.
Lt. Michael Murphy in the hail of bullets and
rockets knew they needed help. He took his
satellite phone and walked into the middle of a
field and positioned himself on top of the
highest rock and called into HQ. He was
shot twice in the back, his phone fell to the
ground, he nonchalantly picked it back up and
finished the phone conversation for help with a
"Thank You". Severely wounded, he made his
way back to what was left of his team and kept
fighting till the screams of his last breath
were to echo in Marcus Luttrell's ears for the
rest of his life. Danny, Axe, and Mike
died giving the ultimate sacrifice to their
country. Because they made a poor tactical
decision afraid of what the Democrats and the
liberal mainstream media would do to them.
The "Lone
Survivor" was Marcus Luttrell who suffered three
shattered vertebrae during this battle. He
was dragging Danny Dietz when his head was blown
off. He heard the last cries of Lt.
Michael Murphy saying, "Marcus, help me, Marcus,
HELP". He tried to bandage Matt Axelson's
head because half of it was hanging to his
shoulders, amongst the four other gunshot wounds
while a Rocket Propelled Grenade landed between
them. Marcus Luttrell writes about this
harrowing account of bravery in the book "Lone
Survivor".
What many people
don't know is that Lt. Mike Murphy's distress
call was responded by another eleven Navy
personnel, mostly Seals. When the
helicopter was preparing for landing to help Lt.
Mike's team out, it was pelted with RPG fire and
all of the men rescuing were killed in a ball of
fire. It is recorded as the worst day in
modern history for the U.S. Navy Seals.

to allow himself to be in the presence of such greatness.
Yes, you heard us right, Matt Lauer and his little band of
liberal misfits are the reason why Lt. Michael Murphy is
dead. What ticks us off more at Patriotic Thunder is
on October 16, 2007, Lt. Michael Murphy's family was on this
same horse excrement of a television show with Matt Lauer.
Let me ask you this folks? Do you think Lt. Michael
Murphy would be rolling over in his grave because Lt. Mike
Murphy's family went to the same place (NBC Today Show) that
was responsible for his SEAL team facing what they did?
Just listen to what Marcus Luttrell says about it at the end
of this commentary, "I would rather faced murder charges to
have my friends back with me".....and Lt. Michael Murphy's
family desecrates this newly received Medal of Honor by
sitting with the same cow manure responsible for his
death....amazing folks.

For letting this dilapidated turd of human
flesh say what he did about patriotic souls
of America and our troops. While
on the House Floor this past week talking
about the child insurance program/another
socialist program, Democrat Congressman Pete
Stark says, "You don't have money to
fund the war or children," Stark accused
"But you're going to spend it to blow up
innocent people if we can get enough kids to
grow old enough for you to send to Iraq to
get their heads blown off for the
president's amusement."

Lt. Michael Murphy valiantly gave his life
for, this isn't freedom of speech, this is
lunacy in a realm of lunatics/Democrats.
All we can
say is, Thank Goodness their is people on
this planet like Lt. Michael Murphy and the
rest of his SEALS. If this wasn't the
case, we're afraid that the same nightmares
that plague Marcus Luttrell ("Marcus, help
me, Marcus, HELP") would be ingrained to
every citizens' mind while they calmly drift
off to sleep in there bed at night.
America, you need to wake
the fornication-up, the time for uniting is
over, we are in a war. It's time to
pick up your pens, paper, keyboard, your
weapons of your choosing and make sure such
a gallant man and his men never have to make
a tactical choice like this ever
again.....NEVER.
