As technology today takes on a life of its own, so has every way to exploit it. For the past decade, extremists of all religions have used the internet to get their voice out to the people. Currently, Al-Qaeda networks are using fifty different websites to spread their propaganda and communicate among each other. Islamic Fascists are using forums, chat rooms, peer to peer connections, shout boxes and many other forms to convert others to their radical and senseless religion. Please remember, in the Qu'ran, it clearly states that a Muslim's earthly duty is to convert non-believers. If the non-believer can't be converted, they must be exterminated. The England subway (tube) bombings were orchestrated by communicating through the internet, and it is believed that some of the actual bombers were just like you and I before they came across a radical extremist on the internet. These Islamic Fascists are preying on the young person who is confused in life - on what they want to do or become. This innocent person trying to find their identity, looking for a job, doing college classes online, happen to come across a chat room, or a forum and ask a simple question about Islam. If, at the other end of that question being asked is an Islamic Fascist, just imagine how easy it is to indoctrinate them in to the world of being a Islamic terrorist. It's just not a war between nations with these jihadist's, they fight for their god (Allah); it's a Holy war to them.

Our beloved servicemen and women throughout the world also know that if you break the lines of communication, all you will have is some old lonely man held up in a cave with no one to listen to. Stop the propaganda, and their means of planning such destruction as 9-11, and you completed your mission of living in a world where religious fanatics don't have a voice. Our troops, and others such as the F.B.I., are always monitoring the internet to catch these criminals preying on our youth. However, many of our government can't catch everything, and it takes time. First, you must infiltrate these places of communication on the internet, and then get them interested in responding. Then, you must get them to trust you enough to correspond via emails or instant messaging. Unfortunately, you have to use their tactics in catching them. You have to lie in wait, lurking about the internet until enough trust is gained for them to tell you their plans of destruction. To catch one, you almost have to become one. If this doesn't make you want to vomit in disgust, then I'm here to tell you there is hope out there. It's called the Cyberspace Warriors. These Warriors work in a room with a computer, maybe more, some with several monitors, and may even be our troops doing the surveillance.

However, most of the capturing on the internet is do to your neighbor, the single mom with kids, the regular schmuck down the road. Take for instance, Shannon Rossmiller, a devoted wife of three children. She puts her kids to bed at night and goes hunting for terrorists on the internet. At 4a.m. when most people are staring at the inside of their eye-lids, Shannon is hard at work with her keyboard and monitor. At 4a.m. in Conrad Montana, where Shannon resides with her family, it is 3p.m. in Pakistan; perfect time to be online, a couple hours before evening prayer and where the radical websites get most of their web traffic. In February of 2005, Shannon responded to someone on an Islamic website who appeared to be a radical extremist. She fired off an email titled "Ready for Jihad" to this person. This person seemed wary, a devout Muslim, and ready to put a plan into effect. This religious fanatic was giving away U.S. military deployment dates, arrival dates into Iraq, troop numbers, and other military secrets. This whack job supposedly hailed from Algiers. However, after gaining the trust of this person, Shannon went on the offensive. She turned the emails over to the F.B.I and it turned out this religious fanatic was Spc. Ryan Anderson, a National Guardsmen out of Fort Lewis. He was a Muslim, and was consequently court-martialed for treason (death penalty) and other injustices of military law.

Glen Jenvey, living in London, England, also embarked on being a freelance intelligence agent. He played a significant role in the 2002 prosecution of an Al-Qaeda group working around the world. Jenvey infiltrated the Finsbury Park mosque in North London to obtain the tapes, which showed Ujaama (38 year old male from Seattle, WA) sitting alongside radical cleric Abu Hamza al-Masri and talking about jihad. Ujaama pleaded guilty last year and has agreed to testify against Abu Hamza, who was arrested last month in London, and is accused of aiding al-Qaeda.

S.I.T.E-the Search for International Terrorist Entities-Rita Katz is the founder of this organization. You may have seen her on various news programs, like 60 minutes, MSNBC, or Fox News. She developed a whole organization into sniff out these radicals and put a name to them, including getting the information out to people like you and I. She watched, along with 500,000 other Iraqi's under Saddam Hussein's rule, as her father was hanged on public television in Baghdad. Then she fled to the United States. Beware - the stuff on her website is straight off the Islamic websites and very graphic. However graphic, if your ever in doubt about us fighting this war on terrorism, please refer back to some of these grotesque videos and pictures of innocent people being slain. If you feel so inclined to see some of the websites out there that spread this type of horrific propaganda, their is a link at the top which gives you the most current radical Islamic websites out there. Terrorist Hunter is a book written by Rita Katz and is on Amazon.com and a must read.

We at Patriotic Thunder are not saying be proactive in this endeavor. People like our troops, Shannon Rossmiller, Rita Katz, and Glen Jenvey are undoubtedly American heroes. However, they take a huge risk to do this; a risk that may cost them their lives, especially when you view the picture below. If you feel so inclined, I would suggest what many have told me personally. Getting the English-Arabic translation software may be expensive, but a must. Then your off to the races, into the land of Terrorist Hunting. Much like one person, (Paul Revere), grabbed a lantern, jumped on a horse and rode off into the night to let the minutemen know the "British are coming", that's how these cyber warriors are letting you and I know how religious fanatics are communicating. To just touch on the propaganda issue: this type of terrorism is right out of the Karl Marx's mouth. Control the media (internet), you've controlled the people. We live in a land of freedom, that freedom is tested everyday, we lose some days, but we win most days. However, we never forget it.
